Change Church. Create Relationship.

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:12-14

At The Neighborhood Church, we envision a community of transformation and connection. Embracing change, we seek growth and renewal, journeying together in authentic relationships rooted in love,  grace and discipleship.

Thank you for exploring our beliefs. Join us as we live out the gospel, sharing God's love with our neighbors near and far.

Our Denomination

At The Neighborhood Church in Northwest Arkansas, we embrace the core beliefs of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), rooted in Scripture and guided by Lutheran tradition.

We believe salvation is a gift from God, given through His grace alone.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

We are justified by faith in Jesus Christ alone, who offers redemption and eternal life.

Romans 3:22 - "This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,"

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, guiding our faith and life.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 - "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Jesus Christ is our Savior and Lord, the center of our worship and mission.

John 14:6 - "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
