The Neighborhood Church University first started its journey by partnering with Wartburg Theological Seminary and Rev. Dr. Nate C.P. Frambach. The course was designed to help our LIFEgroup leaders (12 people) lead group-based theological discussion from their home. The course contained principles of group dynamics; systems theory; bible study principles and elements of Lutheran theology.

6 week course

Focusing on streaming platforms and gear with budgets

The Neighborhood Church University set out to teach it's first of many courses on its own especially during a time when the larger church shifted so dramatically with the Pandemic. The primary question, how do we LIVEstream? Is Facebook really still a thing? (spoiler alert, yep.) YouTUBE, ChurchOnline, IGtv are all platforms that the church can use, the question is should we and what works best for you? We will walk through the benefits of each platform and how to get to each platform! We will explore pre-recorded LIVE and LIVE and what works best. The course will also include budgets for audio, visual and lighting.
