Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.

AMEN.

Letter From

Pastor Joe & Deacon Jess

Dear TNC Family,

In June 2011, Pastor Joe and Deacon Jess Liles were called from Wartburg Theological Seminary to plant a church in Northwest Arkansas. Through deep prayer, many one-on-one conversations, city meetings and population-needs analysis, The Neighborhood Church (TNC) was launched Easter Sunday 2012 as a portable church in the cafeteria of Central Park Elementary School.

Since that first worship, TNC has followed a unique, God directed vision to Change Church & Create Relationship. This vision sparked TNC's growth, including expansion to a Bentonville store front, and finding our current home on I Street. As we continue to grow, we recognize and embrace that each new person that calls TNC their home church, makes us new also. We love that TNC is always transforming.

In the last 10 years, Bentonville has also witnessed a lot of change. The city has transformed into a bustling center of commerce, culture and community. Bentonville is creating a thriving community by providing spaces for the arts, food and entertainment, and outdoor activity. This growth in Bentonville provides an incredible opportunity for a pivotal intersection where faith and the church meet family in community. TNC can embrace this opportunity faithfully by finding innovative ways to teach Christian values, develop and curate content, create curriculum and construct space that will welcome and accommodate more families, individuals and our community at large. Picture This: 75 - 100 families impacted daily by God’s love and grace through The Neighborhood Church.

Please prayerfully join us as we embark on our next ten years with goals that continue to embrace growth, change and relationship. We are grateful and excited to continue this Christ-led journey with you!

A Daily journey with God

Do you ever worry about getting dirty. I mean, let’s be honest. We all do. We all worry about getting stains on our pants, or spilling coffee on our shirt, or getting our hands dirty. Think about that though, was this true when we were kids though?

The world has need. It is not a need for comfort, it is a need for shelter from the storm. It is a need for sustainable access to food. It is a need for clothing. It is a need for care. The world has need.

People ask often, how do I know where I should serve? Or the question comes out in a little bit of a different way “I don’t know where I would be able to use my gifts to serve.” More often than not, this moment is the S.T.O.P. moment. It is the moment where we wait, faithfully, for someone else, our church, or a clear opportunity to be presented to us before we serve.
